G3 Development Group Athlete Anderson Souza Wins Coveted Brazilian Athlete of the Year

WINDERMERE, FL (December 19, 2018) – Anderson Ezequiel de Souza Filho was honored by the Premio Brasil Olimpico (PBO) 2018 with the cycling athlete of the year, Bicycle Motocross (BMX) last night in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Anderson, an Emerge Coaching by G3 Development Group athlete capped off a successful 2018 BMX season by being the first Brazilian BMX athlete to podium at the World Championships leaving Anderson ranked #3 in the World, then winning the Brazilian National Championships, in August, to give him the honor of Brazilian National Champion for 2018.

In late 2017, Anderson enlisted G3 Development Group (G3) to help him with his mindset training. G3’s Emerge Coaching platform helps athletes and executives develop peak performance by building self-awareness through strengths-based training, character building trough leadership development and ultimate peak performance through mindset training.

Anderson (@souza380) lives and trains in Windermere, Florida with World Champion Domingos Lammoglia (@dlbmx) and races the USA BMX Elite Pro Series and UCI World SX Championship. Upon his 3rd place finish in the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan in June, Anderson commented that “the mindset was everything.” Anderson and the Brazilian Federation have their sights set on Anderson competing in the Olympics in 2020.
